How to reach Ghent (Gent)?
By train:
Gent-Sint-Pieters, the city's main railroad station, is well connected to Bruxelles-Midi/Zuid, where international high-speed trains (like Eurostar, ICE, and TGV) connect Ghent directly to major European capitals. Direct trains between Gent-Sint-Pieters and Bruxelles-Midi/Zuid run approximately every twenty minutes. For online bookings and more information about international trains: SNCB International.
By plane:
Direct trains from Brussels-Airport to Gent-Sint-Pieters run every hour. Please note that taking the airport line requires a supplement, which is usually automatically added to your ticket. Alternatively, you can take a train to Bruxelles-Midi/Zuid first and then transfer to a direct IC train to Gent-Sint-Pieters. The airport's train station is located directly under the terminal, at level -1. For more information about travelling from/to the airport, please click here.
